Trip is a 25+ year experienced professional in the energy industry.  Throughout his career he has served management and executive roles in support of the heavy duty commercial transportation, power generation, gas compression, oilfield services, mining, and marine markets. 

 

Prior to founding Soil Carbon Innovations, Trip was a Managing Director for Silver Lake Energy a natural gas project management company.

 

Trip also worked as Managing Director of Galileo Technologies North America, the Managing Distributor in the US and Canada for Galileo Technologies Corporation, an Argentinian based supplier of natural gas compression and liquefaction equipment.

Throughout his career, Trip has served as various roles as an Executive Manager, Chief Operating Officer and President for several Distributors of Daimler Technologies North America, Rolls Royce Power Systems, Allison Transmission, INNIO Jenbacher and other leading industrial equipment suppliers that serve the energy and transportation industries worldwide.

Trip graduated from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business in 1998.  He currently resides in Salt Lake City, UT with his wife and three daughters.  Trip enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, flyfishing, hiking and bird hunting.

Dustin Hancock is a 20+ year experienced professional in the energy industry.  Throughout his career he has served management and executive roles in support of the heavy-duty commercial transportation, retail and wholesale fuel distribution, power generation, and oilfield services. 

 

Prior to founding Soil Carbon Innovations, Dustin was a Managing Director of Silver Lake Energy.

 

Dustin also served for 6 years as the President of Terra Energy Group, an oilfield services company that captured flare gas through cryogenic LNG liquefaction and distributed the LNG for use in powering drilling, frac, and heating applications.

Other significant roles Dustin has served in throughout his career, include Vice-President Business Development and Strategy for BLU, a CNG and LNG company; CFO for EFS, a heavy-duty trucking fleet fuel card company; and the CFO of the Marketing, Supply and Distribution division of Flying J, Inc. 

​

In these roles, Dustin helped create strategies for entrance into new markets, develop relationships with strategic partners to help further business objectives, understand and integrate key equipment and software technologies to support the primary services being provided to customers. 

 

Dustin is very accustomed to work with civil and equipment engineers, software developers, project managers, and financial professionals to bring both businesses and projects from inception to operation.

Dustin graduated from the Brigham Young University in 2002 with a master’s degree in accounting and worked as a CPA for several years for Ernst & Young LLP.  He currently resides in the greater Salt Lake City, UT area with his wife and four children.  When time off is available, Dustin enjoys golfing, wake surfing, water and snow skiing, and general aviation.
